* Gorgonzola cheese

* Heavy cream
* Worcestershire sauce
* Dijon mustard
* Garlic powder
* Salt
* Pepper
* All-purpose flour
Steps
Gorgonzola Rarebit Cornish Sardines Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can of Cornish sardines, drained
- 4 oz gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Optional: sliced bread or crackers for serving
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Once melted, add flour and whisk until smooth.
3. Slowly pour in milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens. Add nutmeg, black pepper, and salt to taste.
4. Reduce heat to low and stir in gorgonzola cheese until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
5. In a baking dish, place drained cornish sardines. Spoon the rarebit sauce over the top of each sardine.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
7. Serve hot on sliced bread or crackers. Optional: garnish with extra parsley or fresh herbs.
