Ingredients

  • * Watergate Salad Recipe
  • + 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • + 1/3 cup of chopped onion
  • + 1/2 cup of finely diced celery
  • + 1/2 cup of shredded carrots
  • + 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • + 1/4 cup of chopped fresh dill
  • + 1/4 cup of chopped fresh mint
  • + 1/4 cup of chopped fresh chives
  • + 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil
  • + 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • + 1 can of corn kernels, drained and chopped
  • + 1 can of peas, drained and chopped
  • + 1 cup of sliced almonds
  • + Salt and pepper to taste
  • + Optional: chopped walnuts or pecans for added crunch.
