Ingredients

  • * 1 pound of venison roast or steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • * 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • * 1 large onion, diced
  • * 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • * 1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • * 4 cups of low-sodium beef broth
  • * 1 cup of red wine (optional)
  • * 1 tablespoon of dried thyme leaves
  • * 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • * Salt and pepper to taste
  • * Optional: chopped parsley or cilantro for garnish.
