* 1 cup of white rice

* 4 cloves of garlic, minced
* 1 green bell pepper, chopped

* 2 cups of vegetable broth

Slow Cooker Spanish Rice Recipe
If you are looking for an easy way to make a delicious Spanish rice in your slow cooker, then this recipe is perfect for you! Here are the steps:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. In your slow cooker, add the white rice and water.
2. Cook on low for about 6 hours or high for about 3 to 4 hours.
3. Once the rice is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and set it aside.
4. In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sauté the red bell pepper, onion, and garlic until they are translucent.
5. Add the cumin, chili powder, salt, black beans, and cooked rice to the skillet. Mix well.
6. Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until everything is heated through.
7. Transfer the mixture back into the slow cooker and cook on low for about 30 minutes.
8. Serve hot, garnished with cilantro if desired.
Tips:
- You can substitute black beans for other types of beans like pinto or kidney beans.
