Ingredients:
* 1 lb pinto beans, drained and rinsed
* 4 cups water or vegetable broth
* 1 tbsp olive oil or lard (optional)
* 1 onion, chopped
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 tsp chili powder
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Corn tortillas, warmed (for serving)
* Toppings of your choice (optional): cheese, salsa, avocado, cilantro, etc.
Instructions:
